The Best Intelligent Movies Up In the Air (2009)

Up In the Air (2009)
George Clooney spent his life traveling from company to company firing people. They are competent and dedicated but have made the mistake of being redundant according to several Excel sheets. Cue Clooney. Getting rid of them is his job. When a company does not have the guts to handle the shooting itself, it can transfer work to the company where Clooney works.
Clooney is proud of his professionalism. He does his work efficiently and, in a never-ending spooky manner, humanely. He handled the broken heart he suffered every day with ice-cold calm and «look on the bright side» pity. In a hiring and fire economy, someone has to do this kind of thing, so Clooney does it.
Suddenly his employer decided to go digital. The immediate dismissal will be done remotely via an application such as Skype, "modernization" personified by new employee Anna Kendrick. Before the long distance shooting began, Clooney took him on several trips to show him the psychological ropes to destroy the lives of employees.
This film explores the paradox of humans who are experienced in defending the old man's way of destroying, well, humans. Under Clooney's wing, Kendrick began to realize how damaging his work really was, not only for the fired individual but also for himself. He also realized how insufficient his view of life was. He just wants to be a very annoying girl, honey.
Along the way he discovered how Clooney lightened or soulless duck from his whereabouts. He has transformed airports and efficient travel into hobbies - they have even come to define them - and gave self-help lectures that attract attention in airport lounges. His superficial existence was brought home to him when he fell in love with fellow flyers who often did not want to let him, or their relationship, be anything other than superficial.
Clooney and Kendrick give extraordinary performances in this heartbreaking and unforgettable film.
